GOOD MORNING VIETNAM! I'm a MILLIONAIRE! I'm here now. It's not hard to be a millionaire. I just changed money, and $100 US is 23M! It's hard to wrap my mind around that. Too bad they can get rid of a few zeros.

The part of Hanoi that I'm in (the old part of town) is very loud and busy. You have to share the street with vehicles because people park their vehicles on the sidewalk.

I have a very nice room, big, and at the back to avoid noise. They have breakfast included, that closes at 9:30 AM. I got in just at the end, so I didn't get a lot, but enough to get by on, mostly fruit, and some things that I had no idea what they were. I did see that they can make omelets, so that might be  tomorrow's breakfast.

Internet is dodgy. Took me forever to be able to get in here, and post. I don't know if this will save, but I will keep this page up until I am sure it has.

People are friendly here. It's a balmy 87 degree F, and sunny.

I'm trying to figure out when to do the Holong Bay tour. One can do a 1-3 days. I was thinking of the 2 day as I'm told it takes a long time to get there. It's be nice to spend the night on the boat, to see what kind of wildlife they might have. I'm trying to figure out what the difference between the 2 and 3 days is. Is it more time to cruise the area? Can you go further away to see more? How much more expensive would that be? What is the difference in the rooms? There are 3 classes of rooms.

I slept a lot yesterday. Does that meanI should sleep on a hard bed? If so I would need a new firm mattress. My bed in Thailand is hard too, so I will pay attention to my sleep patterns. Maybe it was the change of everything. I haven't been in Asia long so that might be it too.
